"Young Voices"
By: William a. Parker
PRODUCTION HISTORY
In our inaugural production of "Ganked" Puppy love turned to disappointment for parents, friends and family when two, popular, teens were blinded by love and failed to protect against pregnancy. They had to face the difficulty of deciding between college, careers and parenting.
In our second production, people must learn to deal with the reality of Aids.

“Young Voices” enables young people to use theatre as a vehicle to deliver powerful messages about the many issues they face. In a perfect world, our young people wouldn’’t have to deal with such tragedies but today our youth are more challenged than ever. We are going to present 9 dynamic plays that reach out to teens and provide them with the perfect prompt to begin discussing and examining how they must deal with;

1) Decision making
2) Peer Pressure
3) Teen Pregnancy
4) Tobacco and substance abuse
5) Gang Bangin'
6) Love and Tolerance
7) Overcoming Sexual Abuse and many more issues.
These are issues that our teens indicated that they need to discuss and deal with.
